21 January 2009 - Vivid Audio wins the Golden Sound award in Japan.
In his acceptace speech, Vivid Audio's director of engineering, Laurence Dickie said "It is now quite some time since I first recognised the importance of freeing the acoustic signal from resonant and reflective colouration and it is quite some time since I designed a loudspeaeker based on this theoretical work: a loudspeaker whose form was so memorably and strongly determined by its function.......

Stereo Sound magazine in Japan have chosen the VIVID AUDIO GIYA loudspeaker system as the finest new product in 2009. The award was received by Vivid Audio's director of engineering, Laurence Dickie recently at a gala function held in Tokyo.
